Director of Autism Services
Suzanne Ford is the Director of Autism Services at Y`s Owl Maclure Co-operative Centre. She has over 25 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families. Suzanne brings her vast experience in developmental and support services to her position at Autism Services Ottawa. Suzanne’s dedicated passion for supporting, motivating and advocating for others has been enhanced by her educational and professional background. Besides developing, and organizing programs and facilitating workshops and presentations, Suzanne has been invited to participate on several community committees and Boards. Suzanne’s philosophy is to focus on young people’s strengths and move forward.
Heather Ungar is a Psychology graduate from Queen’s University with 20 years of experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. She has worked in various settings including camps, residential homes, IBI/ABA training facilities and employment settings with individuals on the spectrum. Heather is the supervisor of the Foundations Transition Program and The Life skills Training Centre. She works with individuals around various topics such as social skills and healthy relationships, time management, managing depression and anxiety, healthy living and employment support, among many others.
Sheri Sullivan is the Supervisor of the Employment Program at Y's Owl Maclure Co-operative Centre. Her 20 years of experience, education and training has been spent working with children, teens and adults with disabilities. The beginnings of her career was spent supporting children with autism in their homes and community. Working in schools along with residential groups homes provided her with the opportunity to utilize and develop her skills further. She values her time spent with many families and individuals during her career. Specializing in Employment supports for teens and adults with Autism continues to be her highest priority.
